By David Jones, John Richardson and Solomon Jacobson
Nestled between the beast from the east and storm Emma, Felix volunteers have been braving the severe weather conditions of the last few days. Despite the bitterly cold temperatures and the snow, we continue collecting surplus food from our suppliers and make deliveries to the charities we support.
The depots where we sort food aren’t the warmest of places to work, and the routes are slower than usual, but comforting cups of tea, friendly faces, and the knowledge that it’s more important than ever to get the food out, gives you a warm feeling inside.
We’ve been determined to ensure that Felix remains fully operational!
