Steven Finn says …
“I’ve helped out with driving an electric van to pick up food from chain restaurants that they give to The Felix Project to be redistributed to charities. It’s good fun, it’s a great charity and great causes and you can really see how it helps people.”
Steven has volunteered for The Felix Project, rescuing good food that can’t be sold and delivering this to charities and the people who need it. His route takes in Soho and Covent Garden in an electric van.
Our Central London operation is 100% powered by green energy. Our volunteers use electric vans to collect surplus food from retailers such as Coco di Mama, GAIL's Bakery and Pod and deliver this direct to charities. Volunteers also complete collections and deliveries on foot or by bike.
